and we have Spring Break Camp for young Naturalists, Environmentalists, Animal lovers, and those curious about the Natural World. Send your kids on a wild adventure during Spring Break, with a camp experience they’ll never forget. Help them discover some of the planet’s most incredible creatures. You’ll be impressed with how much your children will learn as they enjoy activities, games, and animal encounters.

This very unique camp accepts a maximum of 10 registrations per class over the March Break.

Pricing:

March 19 to 23 – 2018 for ages 6 to 8 years old ( $160 + GST )

March 26 to 29 – 2018 for ages 9 to 12 years old ( Good Friday is on Friday March 30 is this camp is 4 days long ) ( $135 + GST )

Times: Monday thru Friday     10:30 AM to 3 PM

10% discount for siblings – additional 10% discount for Society members ( see Membership page )

Refund Policy: A full refund will be issued with 7 days notice of cancellation.

All of the registration fee goes toward the care and feeding of our rescued animals

Please remember:   – Bring a water bottle – Wear clothes that can get dirty and closed toed shoes – Bring a nut-free snack and/or lunch

Children taking part in this program will learn about animals of all kinds and the fundamentals of conservation and good environmental stewardship. The camp allows children to explore their curiosity about the natural world in our relaxed, unique facilities surrounded by our hundreds of rescued exotic animals.

Our camp leader

Alison Prevost: Alison has been a long time volunteer with us and has many years of animal handling and animal care under her belt. She lives on a hobby farm with chickens, Guinea Pigs, Bearded Dragon and snake. She has also taken an Adult Career Zoo Keeping program. Alison has also worked as a child care worker and youth counselor and intervention worker. She is brimming with excitement and fresh ideas to take your child on a journey through the animal world.

Please note that our camp leaders have had a criminal records check by the RCMP as is the provincial requirement for all people working with children.
